"Mandala"
is a word from an old classical Indian language that means "circle".
We see circles
appearing everywhere in all aspects of our lives.
Mandalas, or circle designs, are abundant in nature such as in flowers, snowflakes, clouds, stars, planets, raindrops, water ripples, fruit slices, spider webs, seashells, and tornados. And that's just to mention a few! Manmade mandalas such as firework displays, labyrinths, stained-glass rose windows in cathedrals, kaleidescope designs, domes, and pyramids define space and shape with purpose. They excite us and decorate our lives!
The
age old art of mandala drawing is said to
produce physiological changes in heartbeat and respiration releasing the body's
natural healing processes. Focusing on circular art takes one away from what
is outside of the circle (often life's crazy situations, frustration, and
disorder), and naturally draws one's attention to the center (order, beauty,
and calm). Try looking at one and your eye is constantly brought back to the
center of the mandala.
Each piece of artwork is carefully balanced awakening a calming sense of harmony in the eye of the beholder.....perfect for creating a beautiful peaceful atmosphere for your child's room or playroom.
There
are so many designs to choose from and more will be added soon. Please visit

Her
philosophy :
I believe that art should enrich and decorate a person's life. It should help
a person get in touch with something of himself that he would not have discovered
otherwise.
